Oregon Vacation Pay Law.
Under Oregon wage and hour law, where an employer has agreed to pay vacation pay and the vacation pay is not paid, the employee has a vacation pay wage claim. Depending upon the facts of the specific vacation pay wage claim case, the employer could be liable for the unpaid vacation pay. In addition, the employee may be due penalty wages for the employer's failure to pay all vacation pay wages at termination. Penalty wages are calculated my multiplying the regular hourly rate by 8 hours per day for a maximum of 30 days.
