Schuck Law attorneys successfully secured a key appellate victory confirming that employees who prevail in wage claims are entitled to recover their attorney fees.  In this case, after a favorable judgment was entered for the employee under Oregon and federal wage laws, the trial court denied her request for attorney fees. The Oregon Court of Appeals clarified that both state and federal law require mandatory fee awards to prevailing wage-claim employees, with only narrow exceptions. This decision strengthens protections for workers pursuing unpaid wage claims.
